When I first started Merchant Ship Collective, I wasn’t trying to build an empire. I was trying to follow a pull that I knew wasn’t coming from me alone. It was God.

There was a quiet conviction in my heart — a truth that wouldn’t let me settle. I knew I was meant to build something that wasn’t just for me, but for others. Something that would create spaces for honesty, purpose, and growth.

Starting these newsletters was part of that obedience. Light the Way was born out of my desire to share truth, faith, and real stories with others who are walking through their own challenges. The Launch Dock came from my passion to help everyday people step into entrepreneurship with confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Merchant Ship Collective wasn’t born out of a business plan. It was born out of a calling.

For a long time, I spent too much energy worrying about what others thought. I silenced my voice, questioned my worth, and downplayed the dreams God had placed inside me. But walking in God’s truth changed everything.

Once I decided to stand up for what was right — to stop hiding, to speak honestly, and to align my actions with His direction — the path forward started to unfold.
